I’ve always been fascinated with seasons. Living in central Canada I’ve only ever known the weather to be extreme. From +30C one season, to -50C the next, we experience it all 🇨🇦
The first shot was taken late last summer - I found it on my laptop and made it my weekend goal at the cabin to take a matching winter shot 🙏🏻
I’d like to thank @gatorade for sponsoring the water in this post. Sound on for the full rock skipping experience 🤘🏻
Over the past year @austin.mackay and myself have been working hard to build a company that is dedicated to storytelling + content.
From humble beginnings of trying to land clients while working on our laptops at Starbucks, to our brand new studio office 10 months later (feat. Jake the office dog). There have been a lot of challenges and incredible experiences!
I am excited to finally launch our company for the world to see. Please follow @copilotco and check out our website to see more 🙏🏻
This cold snap has me reminiscing on summer nights under the stars like this one. Double tap if you feel personally victimized by this weather ❄️
Finally put this time lapse together of last summers hike over the Chilkoot Pass from Alaska to the Yukon. One photo for each kilometre hiked 🏔
Hey friends it’s Reid with a quick life update: started a company (launching next week!), got an epic office, tore my MCL (not as cool as the rest, I’ll admit), and have a bunch of personal projects to share with you all very soon that I’ve been working hard on. Until then here’s a time lapse ✌🏻
Just got home after a magical trip in Churchill, MB with @austin.mackay for @travelmanitoba. We drove up and down the coast looking for wild life and ended up running into this little fox walking right beside our car. I can’t wait to share the rest of our content from up North! 🦊
When you can’t decide if you want to take a photo or a video, so you combine the two. Definitely going to miss cozy fall moments like this one 🍂🔥
Niagara Falls at sunset 👌🏻
Weekend adventures with the Ford Explorer. Fall leaves are in full force up North 🍁@fordcanada #ad
Today marks the 8th year since my mom passed away.
This summer I had the opportunity to travel to The Pas in Northern Manitoba for the first time. There was a lot of anxiety surrounding this trip for me, as my mom died in a car accident just outside of The Pas.
Seeing her name written on a cross by the side of the highway was really a heart wrenching moment for me, but also a moment of closure.
I’m glad that I was finally able to visit The Pas. Despite my preconceived (and uncalled for) negativity towards this small town, I am so grateful that I could experience the natural beauty and adventure that surrounds this place. I can’t wait to visit again soon!
Hold your loved ones tight, and enjoy every sunrise (like this epic one that @austin.mackay and myself experienced at Clearwater Lake).
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 🍂
Apparently tomorrow is October 🤷🏻♂️
Whether it’s watching an amazing sunset at one of our 2,000,000+ lakes, or it’s seeing a massive pod of wild beluga whales swim past me - It’s experiences like this that make me proud to call Canada my home #BestofCanada.
I’m really excited to have teamed up with @WestJet to encourage people to explore everything that Canada has to offer - including epic landscapes like this 🇨🇦!
I am offering 15% off base-fares for the first 50 people that book a flight with @WestJet before Sunday, September 30 through the link in my bio using the code DB02ABA2
Happy adventuring! If you need me I’ll be flying to the mountains in search for the yeti and epic sunrises 🏔 ✈️ #WestJetPartner #Ad
Betcha never seen this place before 😉
Magical sunrises in the mountains. Rediscovered this gem of a memory while I was rummaging through an old hard drive looking for a photograph to print for a friend. 😊
Road block. Had a great time in Riding Mountain National Park this weekend. Although the weather wasn’t cooperative, we were treated to some pretty amazing experiences - like this one. 🙏🏻
Today marks my 25th birthday. I decided to wake up and enjoy the sunrise, and was treated with this view! I didn’t bring my big camera with me because I wanted to be able to sit back and enjoy, but I couldn’t resist using my iPhone to capture this. No edits, no post processing, just Mother Nature in her purest form. 🔥 I am grateful for the opportunities that I’ve had over this past year, and the relationships that I’ve made. Can’t wait to see what this year has in store 🙏🏻 P.S. thank you for the messages, you guys are awesome. #shotoniphone #whpdailylife
Road trips through the mountains with my dad ⛰
As a kid I used to be terrified of thunderstorms. Now I chase them with my camera 🤷🏻♂️
