Weekend adventures with the Ford Explorer. Fall leaves are in full force up North 🍁@fordcanada #ad
Today marks the 8th year since my mom passed away.
This summer I had the opportunity to travel to The Pas in Northern Manitoba for the first time. There was a lot of anxiety surrounding this trip for me, as my mom died in a car accident just outside of The Pas.
Seeing her name written on a cross by the side of the highway was really a heart wrenching moment for me, but also a moment of closure.
I’m glad that I was finally able to visit The Pas. Despite my preconceived (and uncalled for) negativity towards this small town, I am so grateful that I could experience the natural beauty and adventure that surrounds this place. I can’t wait to visit again soon!
Hold your loved ones tight, and enjoy every sunrise (like this epic one that @austin.mackay and myself experienced at Clearwater Lake).
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 🍂
Apparently tomorrow is October 🤷🏻♂️
Whether it’s watching an amazing sunset at one of our 2,000,000+ lakes, or it’s seeing a massive pod of wild beluga whales swim past me - It’s experiences like this that make me proud to call Canada my home #BestofCanada.
I’m really excited to have teamed up with @WestJet to encourage people to explore everything that Canada has to offer - including epic landscapes like this 🇨🇦!
I am offering 15% off base-fares for the first 50 people that book a flight with @WestJet before Sunday, September 30 through the link in my bio using the code DB02ABA2
Happy adventuring! If you need me I’ll be flying to the mountains in search for the yeti and epic sunrises 🏔 ✈️ #WestJetPartner #Ad
Betcha never seen this place before 😉
Magical sunrises in the mountains. Rediscovered this gem of a memory while I was rummaging through an old hard drive looking for a photograph to print for a friend. 😊
Road block. Had a great time in Riding Mountain National Park this weekend. Although the weather wasn’t cooperative, we were treated to some pretty amazing experiences - like this one. 🙏🏻
Today marks my 25th birthday. I decided to wake up and enjoy the sunrise, and was treated with this view! I didn’t bring my big camera with me because I wanted to be able to sit back and enjoy, but I couldn’t resist using my iPhone to capture this. No edits, no post processing, just Mother Nature in her purest form. 🔥 I am grateful for the opportunities that I’ve had over this past year, and the relationships that I’ve made. Can’t wait to see what this year has in store 🙏🏻 P.S. thank you for the messages, you guys are awesome. #shotoniphone #whpdailylife
Road trips through the mountains with my dad ⛰
As a kid I used to be terrified of thunderstorms. Now I chase them with my camera 🤷🏻♂️
Oh hey there little Polar Bear 👋🏻
Sometimes you’ve just got to stop and take it all in. First Aurora of the season! Fun fact, to take this photo, @austin.mackay and myself had to be accompanied by a polar bear guard to this abandoned plane wreck in the middle of the night. Thank you to @discover_churchill for keeping us safe! 🙏🏻
Watching the sun set over Hudson Bay from a helicopter has got to be one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Within 15 minutes, we saw herds of wild caribou, moose, polar bears, and beluga whales. Big thank you to @custom_helicopters for making this possible 🙏🏻
Excuse me sir, I think there’s something under your kayak 👀
One of the best sunsets I’ve ever experienced. Fun fact: the island on the horizon is actually inhabited by mountain goats 🐐 @travelmanitoba @explorecanada
This summer has definitely been one to remember. Hard to believe that it’s already almost August! Here’s a shot that @austin.mackay took while we were shooting sunset from the sky in Northern Manitoba 🚁
Same place, different season. Watch until the end 👋🏻
A scorching summer sunset over Snow Lake, Manitoba. Took in this quiet moment on the dock after a day of epic shooting on ATV’s, boats, wake boards and surprise helicopter rides. Love this place, and grateful for the wonderful people from Snow Lake that made this day possible 🙌🏻
This morning’s sunrise was nothing short of magical. I remember a few short years ago sitting at university day dreaming of experiencing moments like this for a living. Pretty grateful to be spending the next 10 days or so exploring our beautiful province with the one and only @austin.mackay. We’re up here to capture the essence of Northern Manitoba for @travelmanitoba. From epic waterfalls, to quiet untouched lakes - I can’t wait to experience everything that it has to offer! 🙏🏻
Despite being clouded in for most of the day, the sun decided to peak its way through at around 10:30PM. This is about how dark it got during our entire trip up North. Big thank you to @cabelascanada for keeping us dry and warm while we slept in the mountains. ⛺️ ⛰
